Stress And Weight Gain In Stomach

Your body produces a hormone known as cortisol every day. However, if you are frequently stressed out in your life, you may experience some health problems in the future. This hormone generates a signal in every stressful situation, while it leads to similar responses.

The improper regulation of insulin can lead to an excessive conversion of sugars in the blood into fat, which is the primary storage in the visceral area. In the long run, the fat stays in the emotional part of the body. This accumulation is the start for the weight gain and the increase of the waistline. This process is the risk factor for several chronic diseases upon prolonged changes in the function of cortisol.

In the meantime, we must spend our time to find ways of reducing our stress levels. If you can place it in your schedule, watch your favorite shows or listen to good music. While there is a direct correlation between stress and weight gain in the stomach, we must show that we can live our life without compromising our health and happiness.
